Blast Chillers
Blast chillers are special cold storage facilities that are designed to lower a product temperature rapidly. They are commonly used in the food where the taste of food being preserved is important. Once the right temperatures have been achieved, the product can be transferred to standard freezers for long term storage.

Cold Room
Refrigeration chamber used for goods storage to slow down chemical and biological processes and increase the products shelf life. The storage temperatures start from around 14° centigrade and can go up to -70° depending on the product.
The walls are usually insulated with the thickness of the insulation material depending with the temperature needed for the particular application. Cold rooms can range from small rooms to large walk in warehouses.

Evaporator For Cold Room
Evaporator is a heat exchanger in which the evaporation of refrigerant takes place at low temperature and low pressure. In the process, it absorbs heat from the cold room making it cold or frozen. It is usually installed inside the cold room and connected vide copper pipes to the outdoor unit. Usually installed just under the roof of the cold room to maximize its efficiency by using convectional currents to absorb heat from the room.
